Chris Cobb
Chris began his career as a diagnostic radiographer in 1984. Chris became a clinical teacher at Ipswich Hospital before joining Suffolk College as a Lecturer. In 2007 he moved to University Campus Suffolk in the Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Science and as a Senior Lecturer, taught radiography in the UK and also at ERASMUS partner cities in Europe.
In 2013 Chris became manager of the Norwich Radiology Academy, one of three centres established to train medical doctors to become radiologists. In 2016 he returned to Ipswich where he is currently course leader for the diagnostic radiography degree at the University of Suffolk
Chris has an interest in radiological physics, trauma and orthopaedic imaging and dental radiography. He is also external examiner for the Eastman dental radiography course for dental nurses and hygienists and the radiography degrees at City, University of London.

Niall Higbee
After obtaining an MSc in radiation science, Niall went on to become a production scientist, manufacturing radio-pharmaceuticals. At Oxford University, he was an RPA with wide areas of responsibility including unsealed and sealed sources, accelerators and X-ray apparatus.
In an operation with over 50 departments, he reorganised and managed the radioactive waste
disposal operation and developed training programmes for radiation workers and Radiation Protection Supervisors (RPS’s). Niall served on the Executive of The Association of University Radiation Protection Officers and was the joint local organiser for their successful 2-day conference at Oxford. Overall, he has thirty years experience in R+D and radiation protection management. He holds a current certificate of competence from RPA2000.
Niall also has his own company – RPA Plus      

Mike Bone
Mike holds the RPA2000 certificate of competence to be a Radiation Protection Adviser. He has a client base primarily amongst small industrial users.
He is also an assessor for RPA 2000.

Shelia Liddle
Sheila has in excess of 30 years experience as an operational health physicist and as a radiation protection adviser. She has practical experience of working with a wide range of radionuclides and radiation sources, advising on radiation protection, environmental issues and transport.
She holds a RPA2000 certificate of competence to be a Radiation Protection Adviser and has
applied for a certificate of competence to act as a Radioactive Waste Adviser (a new Environment
Agency requirement).
