Meet the Team

Radiation Protection Advisers / Radioactive Waste Advisers:

Stephen Green – Director

Steve originally trained as a diagnostic radiographer (qualifying in 1980) and worked at the Norfolk and Steve 3Norwich and other hospitals in that role until 2002. During that time he became a clinical teacher in the school of radiography at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, and joined the staff at the Suffolk College, Ipswich, when the two schools amalgamated to provide the radiography degree qualification. His interest in radiation developed during this period, where he was encouraged to go back to University and became a fully certificated Radiation Protection Adviser in 2005 (and also added the Radioactive waste adviser certification this year) to allow him to work independently as a Chartered Radiation Protection Professional and educator within this field.
