Target Audience
All those engaged in work with ionising radiation as a result of the use of the X-Rays within their workplace.
Course Aims
These courses are aimed at any employees working at a site that uses x-rays and cover the basics of radiation and radiation protection. (We deliver other courses specific to the role of the Radiation Protection Supervisor.)
Although some employees may not be closely involved with working with x-rays, it is a Health & Safety Executive requirement that all those involved in work, or affected by work, with ionising radiation are provided with suitable and proportionate information to avoid being unnecessarily exposed to ionising radiation.

Certification
All delegates successfully completing the course will receive a certificate detailing the statutory obligations which have been met.
Course Notes
This three-hour course is designed to give the delegate an understanding of the risks of exposure, effects of ionising radiation and the controls used to restrict exposure.
