Consultancy – Additional advice - contamination
Clients can employ the services of an RPA/RWA/MPE on an adhoc basis, or for a particular role. It could be radioactive contamination of goods (discovered at a port or an airport), surveying of a site, or advice about the use of other possible radioactive sources. Whatever your requirement, Stephen Green and Associates (SG&A) will provide you with a proposal detailing the measures required for compliance with the regulations, possible monitoring, training, assistance, documentary reports to be produced.
All advice, verbal, written and by email will be given in relation to compliance with the legal requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17) and Environmental Permitting Regulations 2018.
Our time and expertise are the core elements of our service, our charges are normally calculated by reference to the hourly rates of the Radiation Protection Advisers who will carry out the work on your behalf. Time spent on your matter will include any site meetings (if required), consultation with contractors (if relevant), reading, preparing and working on papers; making and receiving telephone calls and emails.
