Radiation Protection Training Courses
Do I need to do any training to work with radiation?
If you work with ionising radiation – x-rays, scanners or radioactive isotopes, you are required to have ‘adequate and appropriate’ training. As an employer, you must ensure that this training is provided and that there is at least one Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) at each site.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have indicated that they expect all ‘refresher’ training to be carried out at periods between 3, and not exceeding 5, years.
Stephen Green and Associates have developed courses of high standard, appropriate, practical and practicable training with current and relevant information.
All scheduled courses are delivered via Microsoft Teams in ‘real time’ and offer opportunities for interaction and discussion.
